“A Certificate Fit for a Turkey” by Linda Martin Andersen

Am I a turkey? No, not I.

I recently completed an online course called “Thirty Days to a Stronger Novel” by Darcy Pattison.  Here is my certificate of completion.

I couldn’t help but wonder what type certificate a turkey might earn, especially this time of year.  How would you complete this certificate for a turkey?

Let your imagination go wild.  I’d love your feedback.

Do you like online writing courses?  If so, consider taking “30 Days to a Stronger Novel” with Darcy Pattison, I strongly recommend it.  Learn more here.  https://www.udemy.com/courses/

  1. Certificate of Completion

This is to certify that Sir Thomas-The Wiley Turkey successfully

completed the “How to Escape Being the Family Dinner”

barnyard course on November 22nd, 2014. He sends his thanks from his new home

    at an undisclosed location.

    • Sarah,
Thanks for playing. I loved your response. I just got through reading the Sunday comics and B.C. shows a turkey packing up on November 23. This Escape Course must have been around for a while if it was available B.C. 😉

  2. Good for you for taking the course. Hope it was helpful to you. I need to make myself a course (using all the books I’ve bought and not read) and then complete it! HOpe you have a joyful Thanksgiving!

    • Carol,
Thanks for the pat on the back. I did like what was offered in Darcy’s course. I love your idea of a self-made course. You could even design your own certificate too. I look forward to a very joyous Thanksgiving holiday. Wishing you one too.

    Dear Linda,
You are so clever! Larry successfully completed a self-defense course using disguises on November 23.

    So proud of your accomplishments!
    Happy Thanksgiving.

    Love, Joan

Let’s see : Tom Turkey successfully completed the Avoid the Ax Agility barnyard course. 🙂
Wishing you and your family a Blessed Thanksgiving. So very thankful to have a friend like you.

    • Kathleen,
I hope Tom Turkey’s course serves him well! We all know a certificate in hand is not an assurance of future success, but Tom is doing his best. Likewise, so am I. Thanks for congratulating me on completing this course. I also finished the online picture book dummy challenge. Good one! Thanks for your kind Thanksgiving greeting. Enjoy your holiday too, turkey or not.

  5. Congratulations, Linda on completing Darcy’s writing course. I haven’t taken it, but if you recommend it I should look into it.
Toggle the Turkey successfully completed the “How to Fatten Up for Thanksgiving Dinner” barnyard course. Gobble gobble. Yak!

    • Tracy,
I love the way you completed the turkey certificate. Toggle was probably a welcomed sight at someone’s home. Thanks for playing! Please check out Darcy’s class online. It’s a great price and you have access to it for always.
