September 30-October 6, 2013 is National Chimney Safety Week.

Fire Prevention Week is the following week.  

A local firefighter recommended these fire safety websites:

Question #2:  What do Santa and a firefighter have in common?

Question #3:  What do you get when you pair a firefighter with Santa?

Question #4:  What do firefighters and Santa remind you to keep on hand?

Question #5:  What birthday greeting tip did Santa give the firefighter?

Answers:  1. Smoke alarms.  2. They both check for smoke.  3.  A smoking team.  4. Batteries.  5. Don’t let your life go up in smoke.
